About us
Fazeley Pre-school has been situated at St Paul's Church Fazeley for over 30 years. In May 2011 we moved into a wonderful bespoke building, St Paul's Church Hall. Located in the grounds of the church. The Pre-school now has it's own secure outdoor play area and purpose built facilities indoors!
The Pre-school primarily serves the local community of Fazeley but we do take pupils from the surrounding area if places are available.
Our Pre-school is a charity, non-profit making organisation run by professional and experienced staff and a parent management committee.

Learning through play
Through play, children develop language skills, their emotions and creativity, social and intellectual skills. At our Pre-School, play takes place indoors and outdoors and it is in these different environments that the children are able to explore and discover their immediate world. It is here they practise new ideas and skills, they take risks, show imagination and solve problems on their own and with others.
The role we as adults have is crucial as we aim to provide the children with the time and space and appropriate resources. We observe play and join in when invited, watching and listening before intervening. We value play and provide a safe but challenging environment that will support and extend learning and development.

The Great Outdoors
We believe outdoor learning is so important because it offers children the opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement as well as promoting a sense of confidence and well being. It provides opportunities for developing harmonious relationships with others through negotiation, taking turns and cooperation. Outdoor play will also support those children who learn best through activity or movement.

At our Pre-school we are lucky enough to have a large outdoor area for the children to explore which provides safe and supervised opportunities for the children to experience new challenges, developing creativity, problem solving skills, imagination, inventiveness and resourcefulness.

Parents as partners
Our goal is to welcome and encourage parents to become involved in their child's time with us. This can be achieved in many ways, such as collecting resources and sharing skills and experiences.

Parents are always welcome to talk to the manager or keyworker about their child on a daily basis, before or after a session.

You are also welcome to see your child's keyworker file at any time. We hold parents meetings three times a year where parents are invited to chat to their child's keyworker, to view your child's learning book and discuss their progress.

We welcome any information about your child's achievements at home and we love to celebrate them.

We encourage parents to talk to one of the team if there are ever any worries or concerns about your child during their time with us.
